Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Flower Town collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you shop or use an account.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. You can save a delivery address, city or area, region, and zone for future checkout. If you continue with Google, we receive the verified email address and profile name needed to sign you in; we do not receive your Google password.
When you order, we collect the contact and delivery details you enter, the items and options you choose, any gift message or delivery instructions, the requested delivery date, and the order total and status. We do not collect card details through this website because checkout currently uses cash on delivery.
If you use the private calendar, we store the dates and titles you add and whether yearly reminders are enabled. We also process basic technical information needed to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems, such as request metadata and security logs.
How we use it
- Provide your account, sign-in codes, Google sign-in, saved preferences, and saved delivery details.
- Accept and prepare orders, arrange delivery, contact you about an order, and send order confirmations.
- Send occasion and private-date reminder emails when your reminder setting is enabled. You can turn these off in Account preferences.
- Answer your questions, protect the site and accounts, and keep records needed to operate the business.
We do not use your private calendar dates as public content. We do not sell your personal information.
Who helps us
We share only what is needed to run the service. Delivery personnel may receive the recipient and delivery details necessary to complete an order. Cloudflare helps host and protect the website; Supabase provides database, storage, and Google sign-in infrastructure; and Resend helps deliver account, order, and reminder emails. Choosing Google sign-in also involves Google. These providers may process information outside Lebanon under their own terms and privacy notices.
Links to Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook take you to separate services with their own privacy practices. Opening those links is your choice.
Cookies and browser storage
We use essential sign-in cookies to keep account and admin sessions working. These cookies are protected from ordinary page scripts and are used for authentication. Your shopping bag is saved in your browser’s local storage so it remains available when you return. A temporary browser session value is used to complete Google sign-in securely.
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser. Doing so may sign you out and empty your saved bag. The site also loads fonts and interface resources from Google, which may receive normal browser requests when those resources load.
Retention and security
We keep account and saved calendar information while your account is active or until it is removed, subject to any records we need to retain. We keep order and communication records for business, support, and applicable legal purposes. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes; customer sign-in sessions are configured to expire after 30 days unless ended sooner. Providers may retain their own operational logs under their policies.
We use access controls and protected connections to help safeguard information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or information has been affected, contact us promptly.
Your choices
You can update your name, reminder preference, phone number, and saved delivery details in your account. You can add or remove private calendar dates there. To ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of other personal information, email us. We will review the request and any records we must keep under applicable law.
You can place an order without creating an account. If you do, we still need the delivery information required to fulfill that order.
